A top down view of a tableful of colourful Japanese food and drink

Celebrating life with a late summer social! Following a summer of absence, we delayed our summer social and timed it to welcome back our wonderful colleague Irina from maternity leave. The best way to celebrate was to ignore HR advice, and lock the team in a room and throw away the key (into a safe box just outside the room). The only way to get out (with dignity) was to solve a bunch of puzzles – some obvious, some more cryptic. With only a few clues, we managed to escape with three minutes to spare!

Our reward for escaping was to gorge ourselves on an abundance of delicious food and drink. We started with some smokey and bubbly cocktails, followed by a colourful fusion of Japanese cuisine with a Danish twist. This came in the form of a tableful of flavoursome, umami-infused sushi, salad bowls, edamame beans, and grilled veg. A perfect way to end the evening and celebrate our magnificent team. Welcome back Irina – your warm presence in the Sow Space team has been sorely missed!

We feel lucky to have such a close-knit team, willing to work hard and support each other. Get in touch if you’re looking for specialist eco architect services and would like to work with our friendly team.
